English Premier League clubs Brighton and Watford are reportedly in the hat to sign Tunisian international Youssef Msakni in the January transfer window.
According to reports in Msakni’s country, Brighton appear to be in the lead to snap up the 28-year-old forward who has been impressive in the Qatar Stars League with Al Duhail SC.
Despite just returning from injury, the Tunisian is said to be high priority on the transfer wishlist of Brighton with Watford lurking in the wings to hook him as well.
It is claimed that Msakni is “very close” to a move to England, and could be London-bound in the coming days.
The former Esperance man who can also play as a winger has caught the eye of Premier League scouts after netting more than 20 goals in just over 40 appearances in the Qatari league outings for Al Duhail since joining in 2013 from Esperance.
It is not the first time the talented Tunisian is being linked to Premier League clubs as he was believed to be in the radar of Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham before his move to the Middle East.
