Nigeria teenage winger Hillary Gong is on the verge of completing a move to Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem, thepredictorng.com can report.
The 19-year-old has already left for the GelreDome Arnhem in the Netherlands and is expected to undergo a medical before signing a contract of three years plus.
Despite being linked with top European clubs and being in hot demand, Vitesse it is understood has secured a pre-agreement to sign the winger.
Apart from that, Gong’s representative has also been able to ensure that the development of the youngster is given priority at the Dutch club as he is regarded as a highly-talented player.
The AS Trencin player has been linked with RSC Anderlecht, KAA Gent and Club Brugge in recent weeks.
The winger’s strengths include acceleration, speed, crossing, running with the ball over a long distance as well as close range finishing.
Gong’s style of play is described as similar to that of Liverpool and Senegal star Sadio Mane though he is a faster version.
Interestingly Gong will team up with former CSKA Moscow manager Leonid Slutsky who likes wingers with speed and worked with Ahmed Musa during his stint at the Russian club.
