
Amusan won gold in the women’s 100 metres hurdle final at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia on Friday.
The Nigerian finished in a time of 12.58 seconds ahead of Jamaican duo of Danielle Williams and Yanique Thompson who took silver and bronze medals respectively.
Williams finished with a time of 12.68 seconds in second place while her compatriot Thompson took bronze by recording a time of 12.97 seconds.
Amusan’s 12.58 seconds in the women’s 100 metres final is an improvement on her earlier time of 12.73 seconds in round one – heat one which she finished in first place.
