Nollywood actress Funke Akindele-Bello has made an appearance in the Hollywood animated movie based on the Marvel Comic story of superheroes Avengers due to be released this year.
She is one of the casts in Avengers: Infinity War as one of the Dora Milaje members, an all female special forces unit that serve as personal bodyguards to the Black Panther.
Surely the year is starting on a superb note for the 40-year-old act as appearing in one of the world’s biggest movie franchise will shoot up her value in the film industry.
The Nigerian actress featured alongside top Hollywood acts like Karen Gillan, Angela Bassett, Mark Ruffalo, Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans among others.
Akindele-Bello featured in a movie which storyline borders on the Avengers saving the Earth and its existence from a despot, Thanos, whose aim is to collect powers and use them to inflict unimaginable pain on the world.
The release date for the movie is 25 April in Australia, Belgium, France, Italy, Netherlands and New Zealand.
The filming locations for the movie was in the United Kingdom and the United States of America and ran from 23 January to 14 July last year.
Akindele-Bello is popularly known in Nigeria for her role as Jenifa in a Nollywood comedy flick which was believed to be a top grossing film in the country in 2011.
