Nigeria international Victor Moses will be named in Chelsea’s matchday squad for their English Premier League game at Liverpool on Saturday.
According to Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, the 26-year-old’s “condition is good” and will travel with the team for the big game at Anfield.
However Conte made it clear that Moses still needs time to hit his previous form and will have to start from the bench.
“His condition is good. For sure he needs a bit of time to recover the best form. Tomorrow he is in our squad. I think I want to put him on the bench, and then to decide if there is the necessity to put him on or not.
“I am very happy because now he is fine, but he needs a bit of time to find the best physical condition,” Conte told the media at Cobham on Friday.
Moses has been sidelined since he suffered a hamstring injury just 39 minutes into Chelsea’s game at Crystal Palace last month when they endured a surprise defeat.
In the absence of Moses, the duo of Davide Zappacosta and Cesar Azpilicueta have played at right wing back on different occasions.
Moses has made six Premier League appearances for the English champions this season.
