Feyenoord fans paid tribute to goalkeeper Brad Jones’ son, who passed away six years ago on Saturday.

In the early stages of Feyenoord’s 1-1 draw with VVV-Venlo, the home fans lit up De Kuip with their mobile phones and lighters.

This was followed by a rendition of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ in a touching tribute to Jones’ son.

The former Liverpool goalkeeper lost his five-year-old, Luca, six years ago after a battle with leukaemia.

Jones and his wife Dani are vocal supporters of the Anthony Nolan organisation which finds blood stem cell and bone marrow donors for those who are suffering from blood cancers.
