Bursaspor midfielder Mikel Agu will not take part in Nigeria’s 2018 World Cup qualifying game against Algeria and the international friendly against Argentina this month.
The 24-year-old has been ruled out due to an injury.
“Turkey based midfielder Mikel Agu is out of our upcoming games against Algeria & Argentina owing to injury. We’ll miss him #SoarSuperEagles,” the official Twitter handle of the team announced on Wednesday.

Agu now joins Victor Moses, Elderson Echiejile, Odion Ighalo and Moses Simon on the sidelines.
Nigeria, already through to the World Cup in Russia, will face Algeria in a dead-rubber game at the Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui in Constantine this Friday.
Next Tuesday week, the three-time African champions go up against former World champions Argentina in Krasodar, Russia in a friendly game.
