Two-time CAF Champions League winners Enyimba have continued to remain busy in the transfer window of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) by nearing a deal for Gombe United’s Austine Oladapo.
The Peoples Elephant have identified Oladapo as a target to bolster their striking option in the coming season which is likely to start before the end of this year.
Enyimba, seven-time champions of the top division in Nigeria, have already opened discussions with Gombe United relegated from the NPFL last season for the service of the player.
According to the official website of the NPFL, the negotiation has reached an advanced stage and has been logged into the Domestic Transfer Matching System (DTMS) and is “awaiting confirmation for registration.”
The Aba club are also in the race to land Enugu Rangers midfielder Chinedu Udeagha. The deal for Udeagha is still in negotiation.
Enyimba have already brought in Katsina United defender Nasiru Sani.
