FC Barcelona are not making any move to sign Leicester City and Algerian midfielder Riyad Mahrez on deadline day.
Mahrez left the Algerian national team camp to finalise a move to an unnamed club and was reportedly linked straightaway with the Catalan giants when he arrived in the city of Barcelona, prompting speculations of a shock €50 million move.
However, Spanish journalist Guillem Balague has shed more light on reports linking Mahrez with a move to Barcelona and he confirmed that the Catalan side are only focused on prising away Phillipe Coutinho from Liverpool.
Barça say they not interested in Mahrez. That kills that one then.

Barcelona are not the only club ruled out of a move for the 26-year-old Algerian as Arsenal, also linked with Mahrez, are now back for Thomas Lemar and have reportedly made a £90 million offer for the AS Monaco man.
Mahrez in the last 24 hours has been linked with AS Roma, Arsenal, Barcelona and even Manchester United with the transfer window few hours away from shutting down.
Only Roma has made a bid of around which Leicester rejected. The English club have stated that there has been no bid after that for the Algerian.
