Nigeria international Ahmed Musa has re-joined Russian club CSKA Moscow on loan from former English champions Leicester City.
Both clubs confirmed the switch of the 25-year-old on Tuesday after agreeing a deal.
Musa will spend the rest of the season with the 13-time Russian champions.
The move also means that Musa is eligible to faeture in the UEFA Europa League in February for CSKA.
“PFC CSKA and Leicester City agreed the loan of Ahmed Musa today until the end of 2017/18 season.
Ahmed will be included in the Red-Blues’ squadlist for the national league and the UEFA Europa League knockout stage,” the Russian club announced on their website.
Leicester stated: “A deal has been agreed for Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa to re-join former club CSKA Moscow on loan until the end of the 2017/18 campaign.”
However the forward is excited with his return to the Moscow where he spent four years before moving to England to join Leicester City.
“I am very happy and proud to be back. This is truly home, champion team that fights for the top awards and occupies highest places. I am back to red-blue family,” Musa told the Russian club’s media after completing his move.

Musa returns to CSKA where he scored more than 50 goals during his four-year spell between 2012 and 2016.
