FC Zurich head of sports, Thomas Bickel, is excited with the capture of the striker and believes that Odey is “already (goal) scorer” who will be a good addition to their playing personnel.
“Stephen was already a scorer and a national player in his home country at the age of 19. We are glad that he wants to take the next step with us,” said Bickel.
Odey scored 18 goals in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) for MFM FC before leaving for Zurich.
